Padmabhushan Dr. Chiranjeevi on his second leg of ‘Praja Ankita Yatra’ in Telangana districts has reiterated his ‘Tirupati Maha Sankalpa Sabha’ statement on Telangana.

    Speaking emotionally at Jagityal in Karimnagar district he said “if the central Government decides to give a separate statehood to Telangana, Praja Rajyam Party will not at all oppose it”.

    He was saying this again and again to the highly electrified crowd gathered in huge numbers on the roads of Jagityala. Pleople gathered were cheering him for what ever he is speaking. Chiranjeevi was looking more energetic and improving his public addressing capabilities.

    He blamed the backwardness of Telangana on the past Governments. For all their political mottos, the past Governments from the independence have neglected and pushed Telangana back and made the people of Telangana backward. He also said that there is no inadequacy of water resources as well as natural resources in Telangana. The inadequacy is in the minds of the politicians who ruled all these years, he says.
If brought to the power Praja Rajyam will weave off all the outstanding loans of the weavers, Chiranjeevi promised.(31-10-2008)
