NDTV - Gives AP to Chiru? -
Lets begin by cautioning that these surveys dont really reflect the ground realities and are misleading. Not necessarily because it is intended but because of the inefficacy of the science in its current state. Nevertheless it comes as a handy tool to make some meaningful predictions.
CNN IBN Gets it Wrong -
Last night there was a special analysis on AP in CNN IBN. It indicates that Congress will end up the winners with the TDP finishing second. Our own Praja Rajyam has been declared to be coming in third. Lets not deride the efforts that have gone into the exercise. Lets also not attribute motives as is done normally. But then, it is very obvious that the whole exercise does not reflect the ground realities. Here is an attempt to analyse the analysis.
“Secularist Congress” - Roll of Mohammed Azharuddin -
Mohammed Azharuddin the stylish and wristy cricketer is remembered for two things. 1) His contribution as a cricketer which started off famously with him scoring three centuries on the trot on debut. 2) His role in the match fixing episode which is best forgotten. Azhar was lured by the "secularist" Congress with the promise of fielding him in AP. Poor Azhar may have faced many a bouncer in his cricketing carreer, but was not exposed to the theesra (with Congress it cant be doosra, it has to be something more) from the Congress.
“Con”gress at it again -

In Meghalaya a few MLA’s were lured by the Congress to withdraw support to the ruling coalition led by NCP. The ruling party won the vote of confidence mandated by the Governor on the floor of the assembly.

The electronic and print media are replete with items criticising - rightly so - the hate speech of Shri. Varun Gandhi, the scion of the Nehru - Gandhi family. Mr.Digvijay Singh, a senior congress leader close to the Gandhi family and a General Secretary to boot, has expressed his dismay.
Arise, Awake and Stop not Till the Goal is Reached -
Arise, Awake and Stop not Till the Goal is Reached - Swami Vivekananda. The Great spiritual master spoke these words almost a century ago. The Guiding principle for the Praja Rajyam (PR) at this crucial point in the History of AP or for that matter in Indian politics.
